Some Cool Life Tips For Everyone

Remove onion and garlic smell from hands

Onions and garlic make a wonderful contribution to many dishes, but they can also contribute a lot of lingering smell to your hands after cutting them.  This smell can often linger for days, even after washing multiple times.
Try washing your hands with a little bit of no-tear baby shampoo.  It will remove the onion and garlic smell with very little effort, and leave you smelly baby fresh clean!  It will also work on cutting boards or anything else where the smell is found.

Clean a dirty microwave with ease

Microwaves can be notoriously difficult and nasty to clean.  As food is spilled, boils over or spatters on the interior, it quickly becomes baked on and tough to remove.  However, there is an easy way to loosen it up and make the cleaning job much easier.
Fill a cup with water and set in the microwave.  Set the timer for enough time to bring the water to a boil and continue boiling for a few minutes.  After, remove the cup and wiped down the microwave immediately and the food and grime should be removed much easier.
Why this works: as the water boils and releases steam that is absorbed by everything in the microwave.  This loosens everything making for easy removal.

Wash windows without the streaks

This trick will work on any glass window, even those car windows covered with dog slobber and greasy kid fingerprints.
Another advantage of using newspaper for windows is that it does not leave behind lint or bits of paper towel.
